Wolfsbane

The Dowrra are human females descended from Inanna, a goddess of love, whose dormant desires erupt when they meet their destiny and mate with powerful, supernatural creatures. Eternal love is always worth centuries of waiting. Wolfsbane Isabella Garcia is a ward adopted by Giovanni Santos, who's been meticulously groomed as an assassin for his mercenary guild. What the six-hundred-year-old vampiress has yet to learn is that she’s Dowrra, and her unexpected mate may be her greatest foe. Issie’s curiosity about her parentage becomes unbearable, after she discovers she is immune to werewolf venom. When she and Josephina Iscariot are captured by the O’Neil wolf pack, Issie offers herself as a hostage in exchange for Josie’s safety. Morgan O’Neil is a stern, seven-foot Viking warrior clad in bearskin, with thick forearms covered in ulfur tattoos, who harbours a burning hatred for vampires. The only thing restraining his violence against his brazen prisoner is her promise to help him get his sister, Ivana, back from Tyler Demetrius… and an unusual mating bond that drives him wild with lust. As an ulfur alpha, Morgan is an embodiment of primal sensuality, and although she cannot yet understand her intense desire for such a barbaric enemy, it’s not long before Issie craves him. She learns to admire the ulfur wolves, finding the purpose she’s always needed, but will Morgan ever overcome his fierce distrust? Is she willing to betray her adopted family and fight her own kind? Will she be able to uncover who she really is? Discover love worth waiting centuries for in Wolfsbane, the thrilling fifth novel of The Dowrra Series.
