Ladd Eldridge has lived his life since the age of 15 to perfection. His OCD, quirks, and particular ways of doing things have always been an issue with every relationship he’s attempted. He's kept a tight grip on his world to ruthlessly avoid the chaos of his childhood memories, but his greatest wish is to have a home and family with someone special. He hopes he can find a man who will love him as he is, and convince him its finally safe to let go, get out of his head, and just feel.

Connor McDaniel is still licking his wounds from the spectacular failure of his last relationship. He took a job overseeing the renovation of a historic building in Fairpoint to get as far away from the memories as possible. Despite his terrible luck with relationships, Connor has remained a closet romantic. He’s a bear of a man with a soft heart who wishes for someone of his own to love and protect. He hopes his someone special won't mind his protective streak, and may let him take charge and help them just feel.
