Unexpected Ventures

A single mom and single dad second chance romance…

BETH
One uncharacteristic night.
One encounter I can’t forget.
One man I can’t have.

After the most passionate evening of my life, Dominic Mazzello disappeared from my life. Years later, we’ve been brought back together by both our children and work. He says he’s no good for me. He claims I’m too sweet. Maybe I’m not as sweet as he thinks.

DOMINIC
She has the bluest eyes.
She has the kindest heart.
She doesn’t know the dark man that lives in me.

My life was turned upside down that night. I’ve spent years thinking about her. Now she’s back in my life. She’s the kind of girl you take home to meet your family. I’m the kind of man who should be kept a dirty secret.

Maybe I can try to be the man she deserves. The kind who won’t hurt her.

An unforgettable night. An undeniable attraction. An unexpected journey.
