The Proper Princess

A grieving princess. An awkward crown prince. One arranged marriage bound by political necessity.

Princess Madeleine survived the death of her fiancé by resigning herself to a loveless royal union. She has always played the role of the proper royal, but meeting her intended husband tests her limits. Crown Prince Enrique is gorgeous, but his fumbling apologies and lack of social grace make him feel more like a court jester than a Prince Charming.

Enrique knows he lacks refinement, but the future king is determined to improve for his country and his bride. Despite their union being a political mandate, he refuses to accept a loveless marriage. He wants a true love match with the captivating Madeleine, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to properly woo her.

But winning the heart of a woman who has closed herself off to love proves nearly impossible. As their royal wedding day approaches, Enrique must break through Madeleine’s emotional walls, or their vows will become a permanent goodbye.
