Pomegranate

Hell hath no fury like the Goddess of the Underworld scorned.

History tells of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, the three ruling brothers of Mount Olympus, but history is mistaken. In the beginning, Hades was not a god but an immortal woman loved and then betrayed by Zeus, who exiled her to the abandoned Underworld. He named her ruler of Hell, but his so-called favor is a death sentence. The Underworld is home to god-killers, and no deity possesses the power to control the realm. Zeus has condemned her to death.

But fate intervenes the moment Hades sets foot in the darkness, fulfilling an ancient prophecy. She was never just an immortal. She is the long-awaited God of the Underworld, and enraged at Zeus for choosing his throne over her, she vows to get her revenge.

Setting her sights on a mortal farmer, she uses his insignificance to orchestrate her vengeance, but as war brews among the gods, Hades is confronted with an unexpected choice. The handsome mortal is more than a farmer. He’s her destiny, and Hades must decide if revenge is worth sacrificing his life or if protecting him from Zeus’ wrath is worth hers.
