Knuckles
I know a runner when I see one.
She stumbles into my casino wearing a wedding dress and bleeding feet, looking like she just escaped hell.
Savannah Cross. Curvy, beautiful, and mine from the moment our eyes meet.
I should keep my distance. Club rules are clear about getting involved with women we're protecting.
But I'm Ryan "Knuckles" Foster, and I've never been good at following rules.
My hands earned their scars in street fights. Now they're gentle on her skin, stitching her wounds and carrying her to a safe place.
She left a man who hurt her. He's looking for her. Her family wants her to go back.
They have no idea what the Steel Sinners do to people who threaten what's ours.
And Savannah? She became mine the second she asked me not to leave.
And I'll use every scar on these knuckles to make sure nothing and no one ever hurts her again.
