Dump Tackle My Heart

He’s the team’s biggest bruiser. She’s the girl who keeps the Carolina Rovers trending.

Hudson “Tank” Jackson is used to letting his game do the talking. On the field, he’s unstoppable. Off it? He’s the quiet one with a reputation for smashing opponents and avoiding drama. What no one knows is that behind those broad shoulders and bruised knuckles lives a secret genius who can recite Shakespeare, fix a broken engine, and code a website before breakfast.

But there’s one thing Tank can’t figure out.

How to get Daniela McNally to take him seriously.

Smart, driven, and completely off-limits, Daniela is the PR assistant who’s been cleaning up after the Rovers since before the team started making headlines. She’s funny. Sharp. And every time she rolls her eyes at him, he falls a little harder.

He had her in his arms once, and blew it with his big mouth. But second chances loom ahead when a PR stunt gone sideways forces them into close quarters, Tank sees his shot—and he’s not about to waste it.

Now he just has to prove that beneath the grunts and game tape, there’s a man worthy of her heart.

Even if it means taking the biggest hit of his life.
