A Game of Ruck

She bought him for a night. He’s about to change her life.

Luca Moretti walked away from his family’s millions to prove he could make it on his own terms—as a professional rugby player, free from his darker family ties. He doesn’t do media stunts, small talk, or smiling for the cameras. Especially not when it involves a charity bachelor auction where he’s expected to flash his abs and flirt for a cause.
The last thing he expects is to be “won” by a woman who couldn’t care less about his name, his muscles, or his bank account.
Annabeth Martinez doesn’t do athletes. But when her best friend convinces her to bid on one for charity, she ends up with a golden boy. The kind of guy who normally wouldn’t look at her twice.
Except Luca might not be who she thinks.
And Annabeth? She’s everything he never saw coming—curvy, clever, and impossible to ignore.
The rules are simple. Pretend to be in a relationship for one destination wedding weekend.
Afterwards? Part ways.
But in the game of ruck, bodies collide, lines blur—and someone’s bound to fall.
