Beyond the Call of Duty

Their cover demands they pose as hired sex workers to infiltrate a voyeuristic drug lord’s island fortress…

They plan a distraction to get them out before things go too far…

The distraction doesn’t show.

Lieutenant Eric “LZ” O’Dwyer lives for impossible missions.

Estranged from his powerful father for choosing the military instead of the family business, Eric brews with an internal chaos that drives him toward ops with high-risk flying, razor-thin margins, and bad odds. But posing as a male prostitute with a gorgeous, smart-mouthed DEA agent who pushes all his bad – and dangerously good – buttons may be the mission that finally unravels him.

Special Agent Nicole Gamboa is done with partners who think her body is part of the job.

This Navy pilot? Cocky, dark-Irish sexy, and absolutely the type to take advantage of their steamy mission to slip in a little collateral seduction. But Nicole spent her childhood in hiding, building her emotional armor. She’s prepared for betrayal. She’s prepared for danger. She’s prepared for…everything except for what actually happens.

When the op falls apart and Nicole is captured, she’s forced to face the one scenario she never trained for: believing that Eric might be the partner she can finally trust.

To save her, Eric will have to pull off an extraction that borders on suicidal – right up his alley.

Except this time, the stakes are way too high.

Everything he pretended to feel for Nicole has become gut-level real, and failure would mean losing the one woman who’s ever managed to quiet the chaos inside him.

BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY launches Tracy Tappan’s explosive military romantic thriller series, where courageous naval aviators face unspeakable danger—and the kind of love worth risking everything for.
