Secrets Within Us

I was on the run, desperate to survive. Kip was safety and security, all wrapped up into one lumberjack alpha of a man, too good to turn down.
He saved me, offering me care and shelter in his secluded slice of heaven in the icy mountains. The same mountains that tried to kill me on my way to him.

They were looking for me.
But would the why behind the crime change their minds about me in the end?
Would Kip ever see me as anything but red-handed, ever again?
