Masked Mountain Man

Clover

Under the stars at the end of the summer masked ball, I met the masked mountain man of my dreams.

Our night together was magical until he was called away for a work emergency.

I waited hours for him to return, but like all good fairytales, the magic ended, and I went from the beautiful swan in a gorgeous ball gown back to the ugly duckling in bagging clothes and glasses.

I found the woman of my dreams under the stars at the annual masked ball.

Having her in my arms as we danced the night away felt magical.

Unfortunately, the night ended too soon with her vanishing before I could return to her, leaving me searching for her for weeks, until I found her in the most unlikely of places.
