A new town. A new hospital. They all look the same when you're running from your past. Life on the road has never been easy, but once I graduated with my nursing degree, doors opened.

The two years it took to graduate and pass my nursing boards was the longest I've spent in one place my whole life. The wanderlust was something my free-spirited parents raised me on.

Living in our tiny house and traveling from place to place was my norm growing up. It wasn't until I turned eighteen that my parents told me it was time to spread my wings and live my life on my own.

I never thought I would ever consider settling down in one place until I met Turner.

I love my large family, from my parents to my three brothers to my younger sister. I can't imagine a life without such a strong support system or a life outside our cozy mountain town.

Running the family bar with my siblings is icing on the cake. But I'm itching for something more—a family of my own. Except I hadn't found the one—the other part of my soul until Hazel walked into my bar.

The only problem is that she's a travel nurse who never stays in one place for more than twelve weeks. So there's no point in pursuing anything other than friendship with her until a surprise has us playing house for a weekend.

Maybe a hometown boy and a free-spirited girl can find their happily ever after even in spite of themselves.
