Haunted

"Luca…"

She whispers my name at night. Haunting my dreams with her unnatural beauty. Her tormented amber eyes beg me for something I don't understand. Her agonizing screams of pain become my own.

For years, she's come to me, calling my name.

For years, I've never known who she was.

Until the day I accidentally find her in the hospital. She's been in a coma for seven years.

When she wakes, she looks at me as if I’m a monster, as though I scare her.

My brother tells me I’m the one who hurt her.

But how can that be when the woman is a complete stranger?
