A small town, former-professor, age-gap romance packed with longing, regret, high fashion, and a spark that refuses to die.

An international fashion exec.
Her former college marketing professor.
One moment neither of them forgot.

Jenna Madison is the polished face of Amaryllis Events, a rising star in global fashion marketing, and a familiar presence across every major social platform. Long before her soon-to-be stepmother took her under her wing, Jenna vowed to make her mark in the industry—no matter what she had to survive to get there.

But even after five years, she still can’t forget the last day of her international marketing class.

The spark.
The chemistry.
The way Professor Finn O’Roarke kissed her like a promise then pushed her away like it meant nothing.

Jenna never understood why he walked out of her life without a word. She only knows what it felt like: betrayal, heartbreak, humiliation. Instead of folding, she rebuilt herself from that pain.

Finn, however, has spent five years mourning the moment he let her go. A family tragedy tore him away before he could explain, before he could choose her, before he could become the man she deserved. Now fate is giving him one chance to speak to the woman he’s never stopped wanting.

He wants to explain.
He wants redemption.
He wants her.

But Jenna isn’t the girl he left behind. She’s a woman who demands accountability, respect, and trust. And she’s finally ready to ask the one question he can’t escape: Why?

Can Jenna let go of the past or will she spend the rest of her life wishing for a love that should have been hers?
