Enticing Hope

This is a prequel novella to The Hope Legacy series. It can however be read as a standalone.

Long ago, when gods roamed the Earth with the mortals, they played with them like they were pieces on a chess board. The self-proclaimed God of Man constructed a woman meant to topple paradise, to teach them a lesson that would be felt for eons. She was known by various names throughout the ages—Eve and Pandora to name just two. But in all cases, she was the embodiment of temptation.

Now she roams the legions of gods in a self-imposed exile while protecting the final surprise left in her infamous box.
Forced to attend the annual masquerade ball on Mount Olympus, she sheds her encroaching destiny for one night of pleasure with a god. That night seals her fate, because when the sun rises and she is no more, he vows to track her across eternity and teach her why she should never run from him.
