Saylor
Finding out about my sister’s illness turned our lives upside down, and caring for her inevitably became my responsibility. But despite this added weight, I had a plan.

I had dreams for my own life—for my career—and nothing was going to stop me from achieving them.

I didn’t have time for falling in love, so when a handsome, older man set his sights on me, the only thing I was prepared to offer him was a bit of fun.

Aiden Kane, however, had other ideas.

Aiden
As a workaholic, the only thing I cared about was becoming the next big thing. My life was on an upward trajectory, and nothing was going to knock me off course.

And then I saw her across the room: one look and I was crazy for her.

Saylor Thomson didn’t want anything serious; I needed more than she would give.
But my desire to keep her, to make her mine, caused the roads we had paved to become rocky and unstable.

Could we get our lives back on track and find a happy ever after, or were there too many cracks to fill?
