Christmas with the Mafia

It turns out that Prince Charming looks sexier in black.

For readers who like their fairy tales a little spicier—where the villain weaves a magic spell that you fail to resist. Dark, morally gray anti-heroes who prove that naughty is nice and good guys can be the devil in disguise.

When Regina Stone, influencer and owner of Basket Case, an online gift business, receives an invitation to the Diamond Gala, she doesn’t think twice.

Her boyfriend Connor is surely about to propose—and what better place than the most glamorous event of the year, just before Christmas?

But ten minutes before he’s due to pick her up, Connor texts: it’s off—he has Covid.

She can’t go to the ball.

Then, her very own godmother waved her magic wand, and Regina found herself on the red carpet, alone and rocking the new naked trend in her bad choice of outfit.

As cameras flash, her night turns from magic to mayhem when she’s told she isn’t on the guest list and must leave. At once.

With her carriage gone and no coat to face the freezing subway, Regina’s fairy tale seems over—until a darkly handsome stranger appears, surrounded by security and danger.

He saves her from the cold but drags her into something far more dangerous.

This rather grumpy Prince Charming comes with a price: a fake engagement and a trip to meet his family, who don’t take kindly to surprises.

Regina’s about to find out that love, like the Mafia, is a dangerous game—wrapped in glitter, chaos, and just the right amount of naughty and spice — and when you dance with the devil, you’d better know the steps.

Christmas with the Mafia — a festive, flirty romance full of naughty and spice with a dark hero and a dash of danger.
