As a deployed US Army sniper, my days are nothing but my scope, the heat, and memories of home. That is, until I connect with Zoe, a small-town girl from upstate New York whose easy banter and sharp wit bring me something I didn't know I was missing in the middle of a war zone.

Our connection is instant. Intense. And before either of us sees it coming, we're in a long-distance relationship, counting down the days, filling the hours with conversations that go places neither of us planned.
