Bear Guard

A lonely secretary who doesn't know she's a shifter + a protective bear shifter guard + a mob attack = a small town romance that'll make you purr!

After working hard all her life, curvy Carrie Stewart is looking forward to her vacation in the woods of Linden Creek — until her car goes off the road and brings out the inner animal she never knew existed. Now a fluffy cat, Carrie escapes into the forest, unaware that her car accident is no accident, and an implacable pursuer is on her trail.

Handyman Darrell Reid is the loner of the Linden Creek bear clan, welcome among his clan brothers' families, but aching for a mate and cubs of his own. When his alpha sends him to find a lost tourist in clan territory, he doesn't expect to find a cat instead – and he definitely doesn't expect the same cat to turn back into a gorgeous woman his bear instantly recognizes as his mate!

Now all he has to do is explain about mates to the woman whose touch he burns for … oh, and save Carrie and the rest of his clan from the enemies pursuing her to peaceful Linden Creek.

Can Carrie learn to trust her inner animal and believe in the fated bond connecting her to Darrell and Linden Creek, before her past catches up with both of them?

This is a sizzling hot, standalone BBW bear shifter romance, fifth in the Enforcer Bears series. No cliffhangers!
