A Moonlit Serenade

He fell in love with her voice before he ever saw her face.

Jake Estam heard Ryn’s recording of a lullaby she wrote for a baby she never thought she’d have. He searched all over Seattle to find her and ask her to record it. He didn’t expect to meet the widow behind the voice—someone careful, warm, and still carrying two years of grief.

Ryn hasn’t dated since her husband died in combat. She wasn’t looking for a rockstar, and she definitely wasn’t looking for someone whose fame makes her past feel even further away. But Jake, shy and quietly persistent, is harder to turn away than anyone she’s met.

As the holiday season arrives in Seattle, something between them grows warmer than the city lights—if they can both stop running from what they want.

A slow-burn, steamy romance between a war widow and the rockstar who heard her before he knew her, perfect for fans of Kristen Callihan, Talia Hibbert, and Jojo Moyes.
