A Crown so Cruel

Destiny was written in the stars…

In a world where the fae zodiac courts were ruled by celestial law and dragon fire, kindness was a myth and survival a privilege Sorsha had never been granted. Banished and branded a threat, she was dragged back to the courts by Venix. The fae who had once shared her secrets, her trust, and something akin to first love… until he shattered it with a single unforgivable betrayal.

The past they had shared had no place in the present. Venix now commanded the Fire Court, where dragons plagued the skies and war threatened the land. His loyalty to his court was as ruthless as the flames that had forged him. Sorsha had believed he was once a friend to her, and now he believed she was nothing more than a pawn in his game.

But even pawns could bring a king to his knees.

Both had bled for the choices they’d made, and both would bleed for the ones still to come. When the zodiac courts began to fracture, their fates were tied in ways neither of them had asked for. They were forced into a dangerous alliance built on half-truths and betrayals waiting to happen. Venix would have to choose whether he was her captor, her protector, or the blade at her back. Sorsha would have to decide what she would become… a victim of fate or something far darker than the stars had ever intended.

…may the stars forever be kind.
